What is a Root Canal?
A root canal is an effective procedure designed to save a tooth with an infected pulp. The pulp, located at the center of your tooth and extending into the roots, can become infected due to trauma, deep decay, or cracks. Symptoms of infection may include visible damage to the tooth, swelling in the gums or face, and heightened sensitivity or pain in the affected area.
