Dr. Barbora H. Valerio is proud to serve the Caledonia, NY community at Church Street Dental, where she combines her extensive dental training with a personalized approach to patient care. With a background in general, cosmetic, and restorative dentistry, Dr. Valerio is committed to helping patients feel comfortable, informed, and confident in their dental care.
Dr. Valerio earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine in 2013, where she concentrated in Esthetic Dentistry. She went on to complete a General Practice Residency at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Syracuse, New York, further developing her clinical experience and skills.
Throughout her career, Dr. Valerio has pursued advanced training in several areas of dentistry, including surgical techniques, dental implants, Invisalign, oral conscious sedation, and Botox and injectable treatments. Her continued interest in professional development reflects her dedication to providing patients with a broad range of dental care options.
A Personal Connection to Family and Community
Dr. Valerio’s dedication to her profession is rooted in her upbringing and strong family values. Her family immigrated to the United States from the Czech Republic in 1985, shortly before she was born. One of seven children, she grew up in a small town in Carroll County, Maryland.
She graduated with honors from Villa Julie College, where she majored in Biology, and subsequently completed a year of research at the Johns Hopkins University School of Public Health before pursuing her dental education.
Dr. Valerio met her husband, Dr. Matthew Valerio, while they were both attending dental school at the University at Buffalo. Today, they reside in Churchville with their three daughters, Valentina, Adela, and Camila.
Outside the office, Dr. Valerio enjoys baking, gardening, and volunteering within her local church and school community.
